FC Diablos hope to keep unbeaten streak alive against Cedar Rapids Inferno

Bloomington, Illinois – On Saturday evening FC Diablos will be hosting Cedar Rapids Inferno in hopes to extend their unbeaten run to five games.

Diablos currently hold a 2-0-2 record and sit seventh in the Midwest Premier League West Division Table with eight points.

The last game for FC Diablos saw them debut at their new home, Fred Carlton Field, and played to a 1-1 draw against the Chicago Mustangs. Champaign native Magnus Parente scored the equalizer in the 84th minute after going a goal down in the 22nd minute.

Scouting Cedar Rapids Inferno
Cedar Rapids Inferno sit right behind FC Diablos in eighth with six points and have a 2-2-0 record.

Inferno’s last game saw them win 1-0 against DeKalb County United after Logan Teagarden grabbed the game winner.

Match theme
The theme for Saturday’s match is Father Appreciation Day to celebrate Father’s Day and father’s will get free admission with a child’s ticket.

The game will be at Fred Carlton Field (1202 E Locust Bloomington, IL 61701) and start at 7 p.m. with gates opening at 6:30 p.m.
